Meet the Owner / Manager
Melodi M. Landi, Owner / Manager
Melodi started pet sitting professionally in May of 2000 & has over 24yrs experience running a pet sitting service. She grew up around cats & dogs and has cared for a wide variety of animals.
She has 6yrs prior experience working at veterinary hospitals (general health & emergency practices) as a vet tech/supervisor/veterinary nurse, volunteer experience through a farm sanctuary and spent 13 years volunterring with a local 5013 non-profit during which time, she served as secretary, then treasurer and later vice president. She currently has one dog, whom she rescued – a chow chow named Amaro and is a Fear Free Certified Professional.
She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Business Administration & a concentration in Animal Veterinary Science. She is certified in Pet CPR/First Aid, Animals in Disaster Awareness & Preparedness Training through FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency.), Fear Free Certified Professional and a Certified Professional Pet Sitter through Pet Sitters International She also graduated from the Emerging Leaders / StreetWise ‘MBA’ Program in October 2017 and has completed various continuing education courses in the Pet Care Industry.
From 2019 through 2022, she was a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award for over 100-200 hours of community service helping animals, the environment and individuals in need.
Simba, Company Mascot
March 2005 through May 2017
Simba, a Chow / Golden Mix was known as the “Gentle Giant.” His full history is unknown. We know he was a stray, taken in by an animal shelter. His time was up and a non-profit rescue stepped in to place him in a foster home. Simba came into our lives through Pet Matchmaker. He loved going on adventures, accompanying the dog friendly dogs on their walks and swimming at Goddard Park.
Meet The Furry Fellas Office Team!
Amanda Turner, Part Time Client Care Coordinator
Amanda has many years experience with both animals and office experience. She has lived with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and fish in the past and has over 15 years experience in customer service.
She worked part-time at PetSmart caring for the animals in the store, and also assisted with pet adoption events that were held at PGA WEST through a local rescue.
She will complete her pet first aid training in Winter 2023/2024.
Elyse Carroll, Part Time Client Care Coordinator
Elyse has 5 years of previous Pet Resort experience and is a loving pet parent of 2 kitties. She has been around pets her entire life whether that be her own, her friends and family’s pets or working with them for a living.
Elyse completed her pet first aid in Fall 2025.
Rachel Cohen, Part Time Client Care Coordinator
Rachel has years of experience in the pet sitting industry as well as a background in office administration. She has worked for multiple canine behaviorists, pack hikers, has had her own pet sitting businesses throughout her life, and has volunteered for 3 animal shelters in both a foster capacity and a kennel assistant role. She currently has a pitbull mix named Freya.
Rachel completed her Pet First Aid and CPR Training in April 2026.
Sarah Norquist, Office Administrator
Sarah has years of experience working with a variety of animals/mammals at an aquarium and also working as a manager. She has prior pet sitting and office experience, grew up around animals and almost always had animals in her home.
Sarah completed her pet first aid certificate program through Pet Sitters International in Spring 2022, she also completed her Pet Sitter Certification course in Fall 2023. She resides with 2 dogs (an Aussie Corgi mix and Shepherd/Aussie mix) & a Russian tortoise.
Taylor Berry, Part Time Client Care Coordinator
Taylor has always had animals in her home! She has prior experience working at Best Friends Pet Care Service at Walt Disney World as both an animal caretaker and as a reservationist. She has volunteered her time working with the animals at Pet Smart & The Florida Humane Society.
Taylor currently lives with 1 dog (a rescue dog from Puerto Rico), a bearded dragon, and six cats (1 Ragdoll mix and five domestic short haired cats). As of January 2020, she has completed her Pet First Aid / CPR training through Pet Emergency Education LLC.
Trista Alexander, Part Time Client Care Coordinator
Trista has experience working in the animal care field as a vet tech for 5 years and volunteering her time at an animal shelter. She has experience with medication administration as well as several years of customer service experience.
Trista lives with three dogs and a fish. She completed her Pet First Aid/CPR certification in August 2025. She is also Pet Sitter Certified as of September 2025.

Your pet sitters and dog walkers are a group of dedicated, professional pet sitters & dog walkers. We are located throughout most of Rhode Island. All of our sitters are bonded and insured through the company, have undergone background & reference checks, have prior experience working with animals, have vet tech or Pet First Aid/CPR Training, are fully capable of caring for your companions & have been trained to recognize emergency symptoms & medicate pets.
Amy Mocarsky, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Coventry, West Greenwich, East Greenwich, West Warwick and Warwick)
Amy has been volunteering/ fostering for various animal shelters and rescues since 1990.
She currently resides with one young cat, whose name is Bowie.
Amy has completed her Pet First Aid/ CPR training in Winter of 2026 and is Pet Sitter Certified as of March 2026.
Anthony Joseph, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Cranston, Providence, Pawtucket RI)
Anthony has previous professional work as a Petco employee where he handled animals, cleaned tanks, and ensured the pets had clean food and water. He also has experience as an animal caretaker for several different families caring for young puppies to elderly pups with medical needs.
Anthony currently has a Lab/Hound mix at home along with a bearded dragon. Anthony has previously lived with a Boxer/Lab mix, a Beta Fish and Hermit Crabs.
Anthony will be Pet CPR/First Aid certified and Pet Sitter certified by Spring of 2026.
Ashley Mooney, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Cranston, Providence, Warwick and parts of West Warwick and parts of Johnston RI)
Ashley has prior experience working at a dog daycare / boarding facility. She has lived with dogs and cats, and currently has a cat named BQ.
Ashley will be renewing her pet first aid/cpr certification in early 2026. She is Pet Sitter Certified as of January 2026.
Barbara Pedro, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Newport, Middletown & Portsmouth, RI)
Barbara grew up around animals & has always had a dog in her home. She has previous experience volunteering at the Potter League and has completed dog/cat care training there.
She is certified in Pet CPR/First Aid through the American Red Cross and lives with two dogs.
Colleen Donovan, Dog Walker, Pet Sitter & Overnight Pet Sitter (Warren, Bristol, Barrington, RI)
Colleen has 5years prior experience working as a zoo keeper -working with a large variety of animals.
She has a degree in zoology, has assisted in animal education programs, working at a wildlife rehabilitation program, volunteered at a bird sanctuary and has prior experience volunteering with the cats/dogs at a local shelter.
She lives with one dog, a terrier mix and is certified in Pet First Aid through Pet Emergency Education LLC.
Christina Acosta, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Providence RI and occasionally parts of Johnston/Cranston RI)
Chrisitina is an experienced dog sitter with 5 years working at as a Dog Daycare Attendant, training in dog behaviors, and hands on medical administration for canines. She is also versed in professional dog walking and cat care. She currently has 2 Chihuahuas and in the past has had various pets such as a Golden Retriever, Shetland sheepdog, German Shepard, Pitbull, and even a Cocker Spaniel Mix.
Christina Pet First Aid/ CPR certified as well as Pet Sitter Certfied as of October 2025.
Christine Langevin, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Cranston RI & Johnston RI)
Christine has her own Boxer/Pitbull mix. In the past, she has owned Pitbulls, Toy Fox Terriers, Golden Retrievers and Chow mixes! She has experience working as a kennel aide where she helped care for dogs being boarded. She has a passion and love for all animals and is currently focusing her career on animal caretaking. Her main goal is to help provide comfort and companionship to pets while their owners are away.
As of October 2024, she is both Pet CPR/First Aid and Pet Sitter certified.
Deborah Cervone, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Providence RI & Pawtucket RI)
Deborah has experience as a previous dog walker/pet sitter for multiple companies and has volunteered her time at 4 Paws Cat rescue and Brenda’s Cat Rescue. She currently lives with a British short hair tuxedo cat and has previously owned parakeets, guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, fish, hermit crabs, dogs and cats!
She is Pet Sitter Certified and completed her Pet First Aid and CPR training in Summer 2025.
Deborah Covington, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Providence RI)
Deborah has previous pet sitting/dog walking experience and has volunteered at Providence Animal Rescue League (PARL) handling daily tasks such as dog socialization, bathing, fundraising, etc. She currently lives with a Black Lab, Boxer mix and a short-haired cat! In the past, Deb has owned Boxers, Pitbulls, Bernese Mountain Dogs and cats.
Deborah received her Pet CPR/First Aid in November 2025. She completed her Pet Sitter Certification in December 2025.
Delaney Findley, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Warwick 02886, West Warwick, East Greenwich / parts of North Kingstown)
Delaney has previous experience volunteering at a pet rescue and participated in adoption events held around Orange County, CA. She also has previous dog walking and pet sitting experience. Delaney currently lives with one tabby cat named Oliver and has owned dogs, both small and large, cats and a lot of small animals including rats, guinea pigs, and hamsters in the past.
Delaney is Pet First Aid/CPR certified as of April 2026 and will be Pet Sitter certified as of April 2026.
Ellen Jaedicke, Dog Walker & Occasional Pet Sitter (Charlestown, Richmond, Exeter, West Kingston & Kingston RI)
Ellen has 2years experience working with animals at the South Kingstown Animal Rescue League.
She is studying animal massage/reiki, has always been surrounded by animals and has volunteered at the Rhode Island Wildlife Clinic. She lives with 2 cats and is certified in Pet CPR/First Aid through the American Red Cross.
Emily Mckenney, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (West Warwick, parts of Coventry (02816), Warwick 02886, parts of East Greenwich & parts of Cranston RI)
Emily is a passionate animal lover who fills her days with the companionship and care of all kinds of creatures. At home, she shares her life with two short-haired black cats and three corn snakes, reflecting her appreciation for animals both furry and scaled. With six years of experience training dogs, Emily brings patience, skill, and a deep understanding of animal behavior to her work. She also contributed her time to Animal Rescue Rhode Island at age 18, further demonstrating her commitment to animal welfare and advocacy.
Emily will be getting pet CPR/First Aid certified by the end of May 2026.
Evelyn Quinones, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Providence & Pawtucket)
Evelyn is an experienced pet sitter who has spent her whole life around animals. She currently lives with 3 cats.
She is Pet First Aid/ CPR Certified as of January 2026. She is also Pet Sitter Certified as of February 2026.
Hannah Smith, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Warwick, Cranston, Parts of Johnston and parts of West Warwick)
Hannah has many years of animal experience, including, but not limited to freelance dog walking and volunteering at a local parrot rescue. She currently lives with a German Shepherd and two domestic short-haired cats.
Hannah completed her Pet Sitter Certification in June 2025. She is also Pet First Aid/ CPR Certified.
Joyce Healey-Sirois, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Hope, Coventry, West Warwick and parts of Cranston/Scituate RI, parts of Warwick 02886)
Joyce grew up with dogs and at times, other animals including lizards, a snake and a bird. She began volunteering at the Hotel for Homeless Dogs as a dog walker after adopting her dog, a pit bull mix.
She completed her Pet CPR/First Aid certification and is Pet Sitter Certified as of January 2026.
Joshua Relyea, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Warwick, parts of East Greenwich, West Warwick, Cranston, Providence RI)
Joshua has several years of experience as a Pet Sitter/Dog Walker. He currently lives with two dogs – one is a Schnauzer/Poodle mix and the other is a Coton du Tulear. In the past, he has owned parakeets, dogs, hamsters and gerbils.
Joshua completed his Pet First Aid/ CPR Training and is Pet Sitter Certified as of January 2026.
Karen Molden, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (West Greenwich, Coventry, West Warwick, East Greenwich, Warwick, Cranston RI)
Karen has prior experience working at a doggie daycare, a pet store and at an animal shelter. She has always lived with a variety of small animals such as cats/dogs/fish/lizard, etc.
Currently, she lives with 4 cats and is certified in Pet First Aid / CPR through Pet Emergency Education LLC.
Kassia Almeida, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Providence & Pawtucket RI)
Kassia has had pets all her life including cats, dogs and even horses! She currently has an English Pointer named Jazzy who she loves dearly. She has experience pet sitting her family and friend’s pets. Kassia is great with animals and is eager to meet more furry friends!
She completed her Pet Sitter Certification in December 2025.
Katie Adams, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Providence, Cranston, Warwick, West Warwick)
Katie has worked with many different kinds of animals including cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, ferrets, & even turkeys. She has professional experience working as a farm hand on local private farm in MA. She has lived with dogs the majority of her life and has prior experience helping her mom with grooming dogs and pet sitting.
She completed her Pet First Aid and CPR Training and Pet Sitter Certification in January 2025.
Kimba Mansuetti, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Providence RI and parts of Johnston RI)
Kimba has professional experience with animals as a pet sitter/dog walker for several years now. She has also volunteered her time at both Providence Animal Rescue League and Shelter to Sofa Dog Rescue.
She currently has two Pitbulls, a Bulldog and a cat! She finds happiness in her career with animals and would be around them 24/7 if she could. Kimba is currently Pet First Aid/CPR certified and completed her Pet Sitter Certification in December 2024.
Kristen Allen, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (North Kingstown & East Greenwich RI)
Kristen had 3 years prior experience pet sitting before to coming to Furry Fellas. She currently resides with 2 rescued mixed breed dogs (shepherd/husky mix 70lbs and beagle/hound mix 55 lbs), 5 adopted chickens, and 2 mice.
She completed her Pet First Aid and CPR certification in Spring 2024 and her Pet Sitter Certification in July 2024.
Leah Reis, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Providence, Pawtucket)
Leah has experience with many animals including reptiles, fish, and small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs, hedgehogs and of course dogs and cats! She has 2 years prior professional experience dog walking and pet sitting prior to coming to Furry Fellas.
She is Pet First Aid/CPR certified as of October 2024 and her Pet Sitter Certification in November 2024.
Maddison Dutra, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Providence, Cranston, Warwick, West Warwick RI and parts of Johnston RI)
Maddison has 3 years prior experience pet sitting. She has had many animals of her own. Currently she lives with a 3 cats, a tuxedo cat and two domestic long hair cats as well as a 9 year old English Mastiff.
Maddison will be Pet CPR/First Aid certified by the end of April 2026.
Mackenzie Perez, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Providence 02903)
Mackenzie is an experienced pet sitter. She has years of prior experience pet sitting and dog walking and she has lived with dogs, hamsters and parrots. Currently she lives with a small jack russell mix.
She completed her Pet First Aid/ CPR Training in December 2025. She is also Pet Sitter Certified as of February 2026.
Marlena Paulson, Dog Walker, Pet Sitter & Overnight Pet Sitter (Westerly, Charlestown, Richmond, Wakefield, West Kingston, Kingston, Narragansett RI)
Marlena has prior experience volunteering at a no kill animal rescue working hands on with the animals.
She also grew up around animals -cats, birds, dogs and other small animals.
She is certified in Pet First Aid / CPR through Pet Emergency Education LLC.
Michelle Morel, Dog Walker & Pet Sitting (East Greenwich & North Kingstown RI)
Michelle has plenty of animal experience both walking dogs professionally and volunteering at Hotel for Homeless Dogs. She currently lives with a Great Dane mix and in the past has owned Pitbulls and Bull mastiffs.
She completed her Pet First Aid CPR certification and Pet Sitter Certification in February 2025.
Mollie Goodwin, Dog Walker & Pet Sitting (Warwick, Cranston, Providence)
Mollie has lived with animals/dogs most of her life. She has worked with a variety of different dog breeds and has prior experience pet sitting.and volunteering at the RISPCA

Naomy Robalo Moreno, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Pawtucket, Providence, parts of Cranston & part of Johnston RI)
Naomy has previous dog walking/pet sitting experience and also has volunteered at a dog shelter in Thailand. She has owned pets of many sizes all her life. She is currently studying at university to earn her bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology & Wildlife and Conservation Biology.
She completed her Pet First Aid/CPR certification and Pet Sitter Certified as of November 2025.
Nancy Zuffoletti, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (West Greenwich, Hope, Coventry, West Warwick)
Nancy has over a year of experience working with another professional pet sitting/dog walking company. She has volunteered and done foster care through animal shelters, owns an online dog bakery and regularly volunteers at a local farm in NK working with pigs, etc.
She currently lives with 2 dogs (American Bulldogs) and some rescued kitties. She is also certified in Pet First Aid / CPR through Pet Emergency Education LLC.
Patricia (Tricia) Wells, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (East Greenwich, North Kingstown, Saunderstown, Narragansett RI)
Tricia has lived with both dogs and cats and has been volunteering with PawsWatch since 2011 (7 years as of 2018).
She participates in the trap/spay/neuter/return program, helps to care for community cat colonies, and does foster care. She is also certified in Pet First Aid / CPR through Pet Emergency Education LLC. She is Pet Sitter Certified as of Spring of 2023.
Samantha Curran, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Warwick, Cranston & Providence RI)
Samantha has a lifelong love for animals and professional experience working at Banfield Animal Hospital. She shares her home with Dachshunds, a Labrador Retriever, a Dalmatian, and several cats.
Caring for animals is truly her passion, and she finds joy in every moment spent with them. She is Pet First Aid/CPR certified and Pet Sitter Certified as of April 2026.
Savannah Stephen, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Providence RI, East Providence & Pawtucket RI)
Savannah is an experienced animal caretaker with multiple years of pet sitting/dog walking experience. She currently lives with a 1-year-old female tabby cat named Frankie. In the past, she has owned Lhasa Apsos, Schnauzers, an American Eskimo/cocker spaniel mix, Cockapoos, Poodles and Pekingese’s. She has also lived with rats, bearded dragons and parakeets.
Savannah completed her Pet First Aid training in June 2025. She completed her Pet Sitter Certification in September 2025.
Sharon Tefft, Pet Sitter (Providence County)
Sharon grew up around animals. She has many years experience working/volunteering with animals through farms/horse rescues & at local animal shelters and as a volunteer dog walker.
She lives with 1 cat (persian) & 1 dog (Schnoodle) and she is certified in Pet First Aid.
Stephanie Bacon, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Coventry, West Greenwich, West Warwick RI)
Stephanie volunteers 3 days a week at PawsWatch Community Cat Center in Johnston RI. In the spring and summer, she helps with rescuing orphaned or injured wildlife for RI Wildlife Clinic. She has rescued baby rats and a number of racoons and birds. She also rescued a kitten, which she then ended up adopting.
She lives with 1 dog, a puggle and 2 cats, one part Maine Coon and the other a domestic tiger cat.
Stephanie completed her Pet CPR/first aid certification along with her Pet Sitter Certification course in March 2025.
Sumaiyah Sharif, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Warwick, West Warwick, East Greenwich & North Kingstown RI)
Sumaiyah has many years of animal knowledge including experience as a vet assistant, an advisor at a travelling vet clinic, an intern at an aquarist center and has volunteered with animal shelters. In the past, she has owned 3 yorkies, fish, rabbits and parakeets!
She considers herself to be detail oriented, compassionate and creative. In her spare time, she loves to paint, write and draw.
She completed her Pet First Aid and CPR training in March 2025. She completed her Pet Sitter Certification in April 2025.
Tammie Anderson, Pet Sitter (East Greenwich, North Kingsotwn & Exeter RI)
Tammie grew up with animals (both dogs & cats) & has always had at least one companion animal since. She has experience volunteering with dogs at the Providence Animal Rescule League (Walking them, etc..) and has worked with PawsWatch to help rescue some feral cats in her area. She has previous experience as a professional house cleaner/pet sitter as well. In addition she has also worked with pet food companies & done some work with them at local pet stores such as PetCo & PetSmart. She lives with a few cats & she is certified in Pet CPR/First Aid through Pet Emergency Education LLC.

Tammy Hazard, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (North Kingstown, East Greenwich RI & Surrounding areas)
Tammy has been around animals for years and has prior experience working as a professional pet sitter and dog walker working with a variety of animals including cats & dogs. Tammy currently resides with her New Foundland poodle mix Koda Rain.
She completed her Pet First Aid training and Pet Sitter Certified as of Spring of 2023
Will Dawson, Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Cranston, Providence, Warwick, West Warwick)
Will has owned pets all his life and has been working in the pet sitting industry for many years. He had about 1.5 years of prior experience dog walking and pet sitting before coming to Furry Fellas.
He completed the Pet first Aid and CPR training as well as his Pet Sitter Certification Course in Spring 2024.
